Taylor Swift has been granted a restraining order against a man with a criminal past who she claims has repeatedly harassed her.
On Friday, the pop star filed for a temporary restraining order against Brian Jason Wagner, alleging that he has shown up at her Los Angeles home multiple times over the past year.
In court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Swift stated, “Mr. Wagner made various false claims — including that he lived at my residence, was in a relationship with me, believed I was the mother of his child, and insisted on seeing me in person. None of these claims are true, and they reflect a clear detachment from reality.”
According to the legal filing, Wagner began appearing at Swift’s LA property in 2024 and visited several times that July. On one occasion, Swift noted he was carrying a glass bottle that could potentially have been used as a weapon.
Last month, Wagner allegedly returned to her residence and claimed he was “checking on a friend,” which Swift also dismissed as completely fabricated.
After running a background check, Swift’s security team discovered that Wagner had first tried to contact her while he was still behind bars. He reportedly sent lengthy letters describing a nonexistent romantic relationship and detailed delusions about their supposed personal connection.
In addition, the documents reveal Wagner had changed the address on his driver’s license to Swift’s home and had sent her team numerous threatening emails. He also attempted to redirect her personal mail to his own address.
“I have no connection to Mr. Wagner. I have never met him or had any form of communication with him,” Swift clarified in her legal declaration.
