Pink, best known for “Lady Marmalade,” shared her recovery journey with fans on social media.

Pink is keeping her spirits high despite a recent health setback during a family getaway.
The “Lady Marmalade” singer revealed she contracted an E. coli infection while vacationing with loved ones. Sharing an update on Instagram, Pink—whose real name is Alecia Moore—posted a photo of herself relaxing on a couch with an IV drip, showing she was on the mend.
Even while hooked up to fluids, the “What About Us” star kept her sense of humor, kicking back with a glass of wine. “This is all normal and everything is going really well,” she assured fans in the caption.
Explaining the ordeal, she wrote, “When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut, you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine. And a vitamin IV concoction.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Escherichia coli—commonly known as E. coli—is a bacteria that exists in the environment, in foods, water, and even in the intestines of people and animals. While many strains are harmless, some can cause illnesses such as diarrhea, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, and even sepsis. In most cases, the infection is linked to contaminated food, water, or contact with animals or infected people.
Pink also added a lighthearted note, captioning one of her posts: “Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember.”
The “So What” performer recently wrapped her Trustfall Tour, which launched in October 2023 in support of her ninth studio album and concluded the following November. Throughout the tour, she powered through various health challenges and even had to cancel a handful of shows under doctor’s orders.
Offstage, Pink shares two children—daughter Willow Sage and son Jameson—with her husband, Carey Hart.
