The 49-year-old performer slipped while singing “Si Te Vas” in San Salvador but swiftly recovered and completed the concert.

Shakira showed true professionalism when she slipped and fell during a recent concert in El Salvador.

While performing her hit “Si Te Vas” on Tuesday in San Salvador as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, the 49-year-old singer twisted her ankle mid-song and lost her balance, resulting in a tumble onstage.

Carrying her microphone stand at the time, Shakira landed on her elbow but quickly regained her footing and continued with the performance.

Later, the four-time Grammy winner made light of the incident by posting a video of the fall on her Instagram Story, captioning it, “Don’t worry, I’m made of rubber hahah.”

Although Shakira treated the mishap humorously, the fall understandably worried her fans.

One fan account shared a clip of the moment on Instagram, writing, “Our hearts skipped a beat for Shakira… We hope it’s just a minor sprain and that she’s doing well. But nothing can dim her light—seeing her get up so quickly and finish the El Salvador show was truly inspiring. She’s not just an artist, she’s a warrior! Please take care of yourself @shakira.”

Fans flooded the comments with concern and admiration: “Ouch, the elbow! Hope it’s okay,” wrote one, while another added, “It hurt me to see her fall.”

One fan wrote, “Heaven, shut up the Queen—it hurt me more than her,” expressing their worry. Many also praised her resilience and professionalism: “Beautiful, you’re the best,” “The important thing is that you got up,” and “An excellent artist—she falls, gets up, and keeps performing,” were among the supportive comments.

Reactions were also shared on X, with fans applauding her determination. “Only the brave rise and keep going like nothing happened. Congrats @shakira for setting an example that no matter how many times we fall, what matters is getting back up and continuing to sing and live happily,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Very few artists keep singing like nothing happened. Shakira, the queen 👑.”

Some fans also enjoyed her playful response to the fall. “The woman is made of rubber, hahaha! Even when she falls, she looks like a diva,” one X user commented. Another agreed: “She’s a little savage—I loved ‘I’m made of rubber’,” accompanied by laughing-while-crying emojis.
