Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman Finalize Divorce After Nearly Two Decades of Marriage

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have officially reached a divorce settlement following almost 20 years together.

According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, the former couple submitted the settlement terms to a Nashville court on Tuesday.

The agreement names Kidman, 58, as the primary parent of their two minor daughters, while Urban will have visitation every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Neither party will receive alimony, and child support has been set at zero.

Representatives for both Kidman and Urban did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Kidman filed for divorce in September, citing irreconcilable differences, and listed September 30 as the official date of separation. She also requested to be designated the primary residential parent of their children.

The couple first met in 2005 at an event in Australia and married the following year in Sydney.

Urban has previously spoken about their approach to family life. In a 2023 interview with Fox News Digital, the country singer stressed that their family always comes first, even when life gets hectic. “It’s always family first,” he said. “It’s balanced, so it means it goes out of balance sometimes, and we just put it back in balance. It’s never perfectly in balance, but we get it back on track.”

Before her marriage to Urban, Kidman was married to actor Tom Cruise. The couple, who met while filming Days of Thunder, adopted two children, Isabella and Connor, before divorcing in 2001.
