Fans flooded the comments of her TikTok, with many saying they barely recognized the “All About That Bass” star.

Meghan Trainor Pushes Back at Criticism Over Her Changing Appearance
Meghan Trainor isn’t staying silent after some fans claimed they no longer recognized her following her recent weight loss.
The “Made You Look” singer, 31, recently joined TikTok’s viral stiletto challenge — a trend where users balance in high heels on unusual objects. In her video, Trainor stood on two large dumbbells while dressed in black activewear with her hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail.
The post quickly drew mixed reactions. “Dude… I did not recognize her at first. What happened!?” one commenter wrote, while another added, “Don’t even recognize her anymore.” A third chimed in, “When you used to sing All About That Bass and now you’re barely a soprano.”
Trainor appeared to respond shortly afterward with a follow-up TikTok, this time giving fans a closer look at her glam as she mouthed lyrics from Megan Thee Stallion’s song “Her.” She captioned the clip, “Glam team really did that,” while syncing to the line: “I don’t care if these b—-es don’t like me, ’cause, like, I’m pretty as f—.”
Not all reactions were negative. Supportive comments poured in as well, with one fan writing, “Omg you look like sporty Barbie,” and another adding, “People are allowed to change.” Others defended the singer against what they called “skinny shaming,” reminding fellow users to respect body positivity in all its forms.
Trainor previously debuted her slimmer figure on the red carpet at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event in March, where she wore a black gown with a sheer skirt. After the event, the Grammy winner admitted to feeling frustrated that much of the focus was on her body rather than her music, also revealing that she has been using weight-loss medication.
