“Braxton Keith, Zach Bryan Among Country Artists Forced to Pause Shows After Objects Thrown Onstage”
Country stars are pushing back — both onstage and off — as rowdy fan behavior turns increasingly dangerous.
What was once an occasional outburst has escalated into a full-blown trend: artists like Braxton Keith and Luke Bryan have been dodging flying cans, confronting audience members, and even cutting sets short as concerts spiral into chaos.
Braxton Keith made headlines after walking offstage in Ardmore, Oklahoma, on Aug. 22, when beer cans were thrown at him mid-performance.
In a TikTok clip filmed by a fan, the “Chase You Down” singer addressed the crowd with clear frustration: “Listen, I don’t come to any of y’all’s jobs and do anything like that to y’all. So until y’all can learn some concert etiquette, my name is Braxton Keith. Thank y’all for coming out tonight.”
Moments later, he removed his guitar strap, adjusted his cowboy hat, and left the stage abruptly — ending the show earlier than expected.
It wasn’t the first time Keith has had to deal with unruly fans. Earlier this year in Texas, he stopped his performance of “Honky Tonk City” after being pelted with cans. “Hey listen up. Pause this s—. I didn’t come here to get beer cans thrown at me, all right? This isn’t a godd— Gavin Adcock concert, OK?” he shouted in a video shared on his own TikTok.
Keith’s remark pointed to fellow country singer Gavin Adcock, who has become known for tossing drinks during his shows.
But Adcock has also dealt with his own share of chaos. On Aug. 2 in Wichita, Kansas, a fan rushed his stage mid-show. In a viral TikTok video, the intruder knocked over Adcock’s mic stand before dramatically rolling across the stage.
Security quickly intervened, tackling the man as the crowd cheered. Adcock himself yelled, “Get his drunk a– out of here!” as guards struggled to drag the fan away.
