During the show’s run, the singer earned 24 Daytime Emmy Awards and reassures fans that “this isn’t a farewell.”

Kelly Clarkson has revealed that her daytime talk show will conclude after seven seasons.
The 43-year-old singer shared the news on Instagram on Monday, February 2, announcing that The Kelly Clarkson Show will end with its seventh season.
“I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with such an amazing team on The Kelly Clarkson Show, both in Los Angeles and New York,” she wrote. “There have been countless memorable moments over these seven seasons.”
Clarkson expressed her gratitude for the crew, band, and all the talented guests who contributed to the show, calling the experience both “honoring and rewarding.” She also thanked fans for their support and praised NBC for being “a fantastic partner throughout this journey.”
She added that the decision to end the show was difficult but necessary. “This will be my final season hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show,” she said. “Stepping back from the daily schedule will give me the time to focus on my children, which feels right for this next chapter in our lives.”
Clarkson shares two children with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock: River Rose, 11, and Remington, 9. She and Blackstock were married from October 2013 until June 2020. Blackstock passed away in August 2025 at 48 after a battle with melanoma, a type of skin cancer.
While she is leaving her talk show, Clarkson assured fans that this isn’t the end of seeing her work. “I’ll still be making music, performing occasionally, and you might catch me on The Voice from time to time,” she said. “For now, I want to thank everyone for welcoming our show into your lives and for supporting us over seven amazing years.”
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the post with messages of love and encouragement. One fan commented, “Love you ❤️ do what’s best for you and your family, and we will always support you.” Carnie Wilson added, “We love you… hoping for one more appearance with you, sweetie! I’m so lucky to have baked, sung, and talked with you!!! You’re the best!!!! ❤️” Olivia Munn also left a string of heart emojis in support.
