TMZ first reported the claim, with a source close to Kidman alleging, “All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Nicole doesn’t dispute that possibility, but she’s still reeling from it.” Another insider suggested the rumors are “all over Nashville.”
People magazine added that Kidman feels deeply wounded by the breakup. “Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed. It’s devastating for her. She’s shocked,” a source told the outlet.
Kidman officially filed for divorce on Sept. 30, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “marital difficulties” in court papers obtained by Fox News Digital. She listed the same day as the couple’s official date of separation, marking the end of their 19-year union.
While the split appeared abrupt to the public, insiders say cracks in the relationship had been evident for some time. A source told People that the two had been “living separately for a while now,” both emotionally and physically. “People close to Keith felt the split was inevitable,” the insider said, noting that once Urban established his own place, “it felt like the writing was on the wall.”
The Big Little Lies actress is also seeking primary custody of the couple’s daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. In her filing, Kidman requested a parenting plan that would grant her 306 days a year with the children, while Urban would have 59.
