Speculation is swirling that Katy Perry may be dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The pair were first seen dining together at Le Violon in Montreal in late July, according to TMZ. An eyewitness reported that they enjoyed drinks and shared several dishes, appearing comfortable and relaxed in each other’s company.
Shortly after, photos emerged online of Trudeau attending Perry’s concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre with his 16-year-old daughter, Ella-Grace. In one video clip, Trudeau was even spotted singing along to Perry’s hit song “Dark Horse,” smiling throughout the performance.
These dating rumors surfaced not long after news broke of Perry’s split from actor Orlando Bloom. The two initially dated from 2016 to 2017, reunited in early 2018, and became engaged in February 2019. They welcomed their daughter, Daisy, in August 2020, but called off their engagement in June 2025.

“Just weeks after his breakup with Katy Perry, English actor Orlando Bloom was spotted having dinner with ex-Chancellor Angela Merkel,” the caption joked. “An eyewitness claimed, ‘Angela had Orlando laughing all night—they couldn’t stop smiling at each other,’” referencing the duo sharing wine, oysters, and chocolate cake at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Bloom appeared to appreciate the satire, leaving three clapping hand emojis in the comments section.
