Ella Langley continues her remarkable rise in country music with another major achievement added to her growing list of accomplishments.
Over the weekend, Langley further strengthened her reputation as one of the genre’s biggest breakout stars by making history at the Academy of Country Music Awards. The singer earned seven ACM Awards in a single night, surpassing the previous record of six wins.
Her momentum has also remained strong on the charts. According to Billboard, Langley’s hit song Choosin’ Texas has now spent 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. At the same time, her track Be Her currently sits at No. 2, giving her an impressive hold on the top spots.
Billboard also noted that only a small percentage of songs that have reached No. 1 over the chart’s 67-year history have managed to stay there for as long as 10 weeks, making Langley’s achievement especially significant.
Her recent success follows a breakthrough period that has seen her rapidly become one of the most talked-about artists in country music. After gaining major attention with Choosin’ Texas, Langley released a new album in April and continued building momentum with her standout performance at the ACM Awards.
