Dolly Parton’s sister, Freida Parton, has reached out to fans, asking them to keep the country music legend in their prayers following recent health concerns that led to postponed Las Vegas shows.

In a Facebook post shared Tuesday, Freida wrote, “Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately.”

She went on to express her faith in the “power of prayer,” calling on all who love Dolly to join her in lifting the singer up. “She’s strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!”

Just a week earlier, on September 28, the “Jolene” hitmaker informed fans via social media that she would need to postpone her upcoming Las Vegas residency due to medical procedures.

“I wanted everyone to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I’ll need to postpone my upcoming concerts,” Dolly shared. “I’ve been dealing with a few health challenges, and my doctors have advised that I undergo several procedures.”

The 79-year-old icon had been slated to perform six shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace later this year.

“With a bit of humor, I told my doctors it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up — though it’s not the usual trip to my plastic surgeon,” she joked. “But seriously, I won’t be able to rehearse or prepare the show the way I want, and my fans deserve the very best from me.”

She continued, “You all pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you. While I’ll still be able to work on my other projects here in Nashville, I just need some time to get ‘show ready,’ as they say. Don’t worry — God hasn’t told me to quit yet!”

Dolly assured fans that the concerts will now take place in September 2026, adding, “He’s just telling me to slow down for a bit so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you. I love you and appreciate your understanding.”

Earlier in the month, the “9 to 5” singer was also absent from a special event at her Dollywood theme park celebrating the launch of a new roller coaster.

Appearing via video, she explained, “Hey Dollywood! It’s me. I wish I could be there with you today, but I had a little issue. I got a kidney stone that caused an infection, and my doctor said I shouldn’t travel right now. So I’m there with you in spirit!”
