“Slow Ride” singer Colt Ford revealed that he “died twice” after suffering a heart attack following a performance in April 2024.

Colt Ford is shedding light on a lesser-known side of country star Jason Aldean.
In a candid interview with Fox News Digital, Ford opened up about his experiences working with fellow country artists, including the late Toby Keith. He also revealed something fans may not know about Aldean.
“People sometimes forget that artists are just regular guys too,” Ford shared with Fox News Digital.
Ford reflected on the late country legend Toby Keith, describing him as “larger than life” yet still “just a regular guy” when he wasn’t in the spotlight. He expressed similar feelings about Jason Aldean.
“Hell, Jason Aldean’s shy,” Ford revealed. “I mean, he’s a great guy, but he’s shy if he doesn’t know you, and people don’t realize that because they only see his stage persona.”
While fans may be surprised by Jason Aldean’s quieter side, Colt Ford emphasized that the Dirt Road Anthem singer is far more reserved when he’s not performing.
“A lot of those artists aren’t like that off-stage,” Ford explained. “Many of them are just more laid-back or relaxed.”
The Hell Out of It singer, known for his unique blend of country and hip-hop, has formed close connections with fellow artists throughout his career, including Jelly Roll.
In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Ford revealed that he has been supportive of Jelly Roll’s weight-loss journey.
“I’m seeing my buddy Jelly Roll losing a bunch of weight… I’ve encouraged him,” Ford shared. “I saw him and I was like, ‘Dude, stay after it.’”
