At a recent concert, country star Jason Aldean urged his young fans to vote in the upcoming 2024 election if they’re dissatisfied with the current state of affairs. Aldean, 47, took a moment during his performance to discuss civic responsibility, acknowledging that voting was not a priority for him when he was younger.

He expressed frustration with the media portrayal of his outspoken views, saying, “It’s a crazy time when the media makes me out to be the bad guy for criticizing foolish actions. This country has become really strange over the past few years. November is a crucial month for us.”

While Aldean stated he would not dictate who people should vote for, he emphasized the importance of participating in the election. “I see a lot of younger people out here who are now old enough to vote. It’s up to you to make a difference,” he concluded.

Aldean emphasized the significance of voting, stating, “It’s a really big deal, and I see many people complaining about the state of the country. If you’re unhappy with what’s happening but don’t vote, you lose the right to complain about the election results. If you want to see change, it only takes 30 minutes out of your day.”

Aldean, who has openly expressed support for former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, concluded his speech by saying, “I know who I hope wins, and I hope they’re playing this song when my man walks into the White House.”

After the attempted assassination of Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July, Aldean dedicated his song “Try That In A Small Town” to Trump during a performance in Nashville.

Aldean expressed his support for Trump, saying, “President Trump is a friend of mine, so I want to dedicate this next song to him. We all know what’s going to happen come November, so everything’s fine.”

He further remarked, “It just shows there’s a lot of nonsense in the world, and that’s what this song is about, so this one is for the president.”
